Activities
Our Fellowship Offers:
- Altar Guild
- A group of lay women members who on a rota basis prepare the altar for the Sunday Eucharist and care for the altar linen.
- Coffee Hour
- Follows each service on Sunday.
- Women's Group
- A group of mainly lay women members who meet once a month for lunch at various local restaurants, Fall through Spring. Each May they also hold a Rummage Sale in the church basement.
- Outreach Activities
- Various activities to support local charities, including providing space for meetings at Calvary (see also below).
- Community Food Shelf
- Participation, especially in April each year, in the running of a Food and Clothing Shelf for Jericho and Underhill, organized by an ecumenical group of local churches.
- Spaghetti Supper
- All members participate in preparing and providing a spaghetti supper at the Browns River Middle School for visitors to the annual Harvest Market in Underhill Flats each September. On the same day we also operate a Sausage and Pepper Sandwich Booth at lunch time in front of the church.
- Christmas Caroling
- An informal group of members who visit the Green Mountain Nursing Home each Christmas to sing carols for the elderly residents.
